Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet town that is located in the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. Many people who don't know they mistakenly believe they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually, this is not the case. West Island includes everything westward of that city Lachine. Amanda Brugel's birthplace is frequently cited, however her short time in the city did not last long. Brugel became a woman of a certain age in Courtice Ontario, just outside Oshawa. She initially wanted to pursue a career as an actress however, after a rapid increase in size, her friends weren't able to dance along with her. In an article that was published in The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall, even when she wears heels. After I surpassed my male counterparts, that's when I gave up. A lot of dancers go from dancing into acting. As for the Brugel family, it was their drama teacher who encouraged her into this path. It was the teacher who recommended she take on a part in the annual school production. The student tried it out, and ended up playing the leading role for the role in Anne of Green Gables. The show led her to receive the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000 she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts at York University. For the past twenty years, Brugel's roles on TV and the big screen have varied. The role of Rita from the award winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most memorable. Brugel played the role of Rita in The Handmaid's Tale, a series that was produced over the course of ten years.
