Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American Actor, best known as a character on the popular TV show 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. While in university Christopher Meloni was attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters have earned him plenty of attention. He has been able to seamlessly play the roles of characters who are from both sides of law to grab an audience's attention. On his debut TV show, he played the part of a killer. Then, he went on to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. His performances on small screens have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His signature piercing, blue eyes which can be said to help him look handsome. They've helped him play the rough characters in an enthralling style. The year 2006 was the last time he was included in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
